Dr Ben Sessa has been banned from practicing for 12 months by the UK’s Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service due to a sexual relationship with a vulnerable former patient. Australian charity Mind Medicine Australia, with whom he worked, announced his suspension. This raises concerns about sexual misconduct by therapists in psychedelic therapy and the regulation of such treatments.
