In February, Victoria overtook Queensland for SAS-B approvals, with the Therapeutic Goods Administration granting 12,301 applications, a 16% increase from January. Victoria led with 5,168 medicinal cannabis approvals, followed by Queensland (3,965) and New South Wales (2,601). High-THC category 5 medicine accounted for almost half the approvals. Men aged 18 to 44 received 43% of these. Chronic pain, anxiety, and sleep disorder were the most common indications. Oral solutions were the most popular delivery format, comprising 47% of approvals.
