The German Bundesrat has voted to pass the CanG bill, legalizing the possession of up to 25 grams of cannabis for adult-use, allowing home cultivation of cannabis plants, and removing cannabis from the list of narcotics. The decision paves the way for cannabis reform, despite strong opposition. The bill is expected to come into effect on April 1, 2024.
